IQT2
Story
The
Journey to Incorporation
IQT2 fulfilled a five-year goal
of Jennifer Rush and Erin Rush-Nelson. In June of 2001, Rush and
Rush-Nelson became the first mother/daughter team to graduate together
in the then 25 year history of the University of Phoenix. With their
Bachelor of Science in Business/Management, the pair set the goal of
eventually being in business together. They met this goal March 6, 2006
with the establishment of IQT2 Corporation. Although
Rush-Nelson has since left the company, her mark remains.
Formed primarily as an
IT Business Development and Communications consulting company, IQT2
capitalizes on the strengths of both Rush and Rush-Nelson. In the
simplest terms, Rush handles the “words” and Rush-Nelson the “numbers”,
as validated by the master’s degrees they have obtained over the past
few years. Rush graduates this June with a Master of Arts in Business
Communications and Rush-Nelson with advanced studies in Finance.
In addition to her educational achievements,
Rush-Nelson brought a solid IT background to the business. While Rush had
worked in the IT arena for nearly two decades, her IT knowledge is
minimal compared to Rush-Nelson who brings a solid background in IT
support. Rush-Nelson has served as technical support for a major
computer manufacturer as well as for the ISP industry. Rush-Nelson’s
strength in hardware and networking is complimented by Rush’s solid
background in software. Both women are also experienced computer science
instructors.
